Roadsmith is releasing a new trike conversion for the frugally minded. With a kit price starting at $11,500, the trike company considers its new HSC "R" body for the Honda VTX 1800 one of the best values on the market.

Roadsmith says its new conversion is a tremendous value for those looking to buy a powerful trike for less. A large number of lightly used VTX 1800s are on the market for between $6,000 and $8,000. With the addition of the basic kit for $11,500, a rider can build a sport cruiser for well under $20,000. For an additional $1,300, Roadsmith will add its new tour box and turn the VTX 1800 into a world-class touring trike. Either way, the new kit provides riders with the ability to build a powerful, newer trike at an affordable price.
