Lehman Trikes, Klock Werks Kustom Cycles and Prugh Design, all based in South Dakota, are collaborating on the design, manufacture and badging of a custom trike called the S.D.C. The new trike is tentatively scheduled to roll out in February 2012 at the American V-Twin Dealer Show in Indianapolis.

“Discussions about working together on a custom trike began last year, but schedules between all three companies have conflicted until recently,” said Ken Hines, president and CEO of Lehman Trikes. “We are very excited about this new venture and anxious to get to the drawing board!”

Michael Prugh of Prugh Design, a full-service and innovative design company, previously collaborated with Lehman on the body styling of two trikes—the CrossBow powered by the Victory Vision and the Storm for the Kawasaki Vulcan 900. “We are really looking forward to working with Lehman and Klock Werks and bringing a forward-thinking, unique trike to fruition,” said Prugh.

Klock Werks Kustom Cycles is recognized worldwide for its innovative custom building and accessories for motorcycles. “This exciting new partnership will emphasize our commitment to supplying new and exciting products to the motorcycle industry,” said Brian Klock, owner of Klock Werks. “As the trike industry continues to rapidly expand, there are great opportunities for us to work together well into the future.”

Once unveiled in 2012, Lehman Trikes will manufacture the custom trike and distribute it through its dealer network. For more information, visit LehmanTrikes.com
