More and more trike kit manufacturers are using independent rear suspensions (IRS) over a solid rear axle for their trike conversions because of the smoother ride IRS provides. Now Motor Trike is taking note by releasing an IRS trike kit for an older model, the Honda GL1500 Gold Wing, that was previously converted using a solid rear axle. The new custom trike, called the Phoenix, is a renewed product release improving on the company’s Adventure 1800 Trike Conversion Kit.

“Because our Adventure is the best-selling 1800 Trike Conversion Kit for 2011, we incorporated all the same features and benefits into the Phoenix,” said Jeff Vey, president of Motor Trike.

The new Motor Trike Phoenix comes standard with IRS and more than 4 inches of suspension travel, fingertip suspension control, chrome 241 wheels, a trunk with 120-volt power source, and a 3-year/60,000-mile warranty.
