1. Can I buy a subscription to Trike Riders Now (TRN)?
No you cannot. Trike Riders Now is an online motorcycle magazine only. There is no print version of the magazine. You cannot buy a subscription to TrikeRidersNow.com. The content is free. We do offer a monthly eNewsletter that is complimentary. You can receive it every other week in your email box by signing up for it in the sign-up box on the left margin of every page or by
clicking here. It alerts you to new stories we post on TRN and news going on in the industry.
2. Is TrikeRidersNow.com a blog?
TrikeRidersNow.com is not a blog. It is an online magazine that abides by the same standards as a journalistically sound print magazine. The editor does write a blog as sort of an "editor's note" part of this Web site magazine. A blog, by definition, features opinionated content by its author. TRN is not a blog.
3. How can I get my product mentioned on TRN?
TRN's Product News & Reviews page is a section where we post selected items we feel are of interest to our readers. If you would like your product to be considered for a product announcement—where we do not test the product, we simply post information about it—please follow these guidelines: submit a press release spelling out the basics of the product (i.e. who, what, where,
why and when). Attach at least one image (two are preferred) in a high resolution jpeg format. While low resolution photos are used on the Web, we prefer to downsize them on our end. Email the images and press
release to the editor at gschmitt@trikeridersnow.com. We make no guarantees on when and if the product will post.
If you wish to have your product tested by TRN editor Genevieve Schmitt or one of the TRN contributors, it is best to call or email us to see if your product is something we feel is worthwhile to our readers. We cannot guarantee we'll test a product or post information
about if it is sent to us unsolicited.
4. How often do you send out your newsletter?
The TRN Newsletter comes out once every month. It
is sent to email addresses of people who opt in to our mailing list.
Since we post new stories every week, the
newsletter is our way of alerting interested readers that we've posted
new stories to the site.
5. How can I sign up to receive your newsletter?
Visitors to TRN can sign up to receive the newsletter on our
newsletter sign up
page. We never sign up a name on our newsletter mailing list unless
that person has asked us to. If you've received the newsletter from
Women Riders Now, a friend must have signed you up. We do not "spam"
people. We adhere to the highest standards regarding Internet and email
usage.
5. How do I advertise on Trike Riders Now?
We offer a variety of different size banner ads that you can buy to have your product or service reach the thousands of readers visiting the site every month. Visit the Advertising Info link under the About Us section to find out how to receive a media kit.
6. What is Trike Riders Now editorial policy?
We operate much like the high end motorcycle magazines in that we adhere to strict editorial guidelines with a goal of being fair and balanced with every story that is posted. We do not favor any brand or product over another.
7. Why is a comment I posted not appearing on the Web site yet?
We review all comments before they get posted on the site. If you don't see your submission posted, it may be because a) we haven't gotten around to reviewing it yet, or b) it didn't meet our editorial standards for posting.
